Another FBT (Fan Based Tournament) will be hosted with partnerships with Gamerbase once more but this time in the likes of piccadily in London. The rules and format will probably be VGC09Revised (allowing tyranitar) alike the previous Manchester Event held successfully by Havak, Natalie and King of Lucario iirc.

We're looking to see how many are interested during October Half Term who would be up for travelling to piccadilly London for this tournament. I myself will be there and the main host himself Pikachimba also.

If you think you could attend, then please could you reply to this topic showing your interest so we can send off a majority of around 40+ to the Gamerbase Manager at London as me and Pikachimba intend to visit (or in pikachimba's case, revisit) him and show him the interest.

Remember, without the interest, we cannot make this happen! So please reply here to be added to here, the official list. I will make this topic on other pokémon forums/websites to address awareness, all those interested will be listed on the main topic on pokemonworld.co.uk.


The winner will probably receive a Nintendo DSi as well as many pokémon goodies. I also intend to put a lot of effort into this event and use funds from the pokemonworld to help fund this to make it spectacular. Battles will be done on PBR and if we can get enough interest we can make this happen as well in the new bigger shop that Gamerbase London intend to be taking over at the end of the summer next door to their current base.

Please post here if you're interested in attending, £5 at the door for participants, you may also be interested just to come to receive the shiny event chatot that will be handing out there.

I'm VERY interested, I won't definately make it though. Ok, we've got until October but Handforth and London are like, 4 hours from eachother (not counting service stations).

I have things to pay for, like driving, and gigs and whatnot, so I don't want to fork out to go to london as well, especially with the manchester one close.

How many will be able to enter? will it be 64 like the last one?

That'll be determined by the interest involved. Probably 64, maybe 128.
