Finally, the Nintendo Wii game PokéPark 2 is coming to the UK. After it's somewhat successful release in Japan, the Pokémon spin-off game will be coming to UK shores on the 23rd March, just a month after it's US release on the 27th of February. With Kid Icarus Uprising also coming that day, and Metal Gear Solid 3D and Mario Party 9 also coming out in March, It's a very busy, exciting (and expensive), month for Nintendo fans.


UK Mewtwo Event Confirmed

Yesterday we brought you the exciting news that a new Wi-Fi event for Pokémon Black & White owners in the US was set to give gamers the chance to download a special Mewtwo. The event has now been confirmed for the UK to run from the 12th of February, the same date as the US. The Mewtwo's details are as follows;

Mewtwo Wi-Fi event announced for the US

A new Wi-Fi event has been announced for the US. The event is set to give players with a copy of Pokémon Black or White the chance to download a special Mewtwo. It's thought the Mewtwo will match the one given out in Japan a few months ago after a special announcement on Japanese TV show Pokémon Smash. If it is the same Mewtwo it's details will be as follows;

More Super Pokémon Rumble Passwords


Although it was recently said we'd gotten the last of the Super Pokémon Rumble passwords revealed, a few more have popped up through the official website.

To start off, players can unlock an Audino with the move Secret Power using the password: 7462-8687 Next, an Emboar with the move Heat Crash can be gotten with the password: 6306-9222 A Dialga with the move Iron Tail can be unlocked with the password: 3681-9208 For something cute and small players can unlock an Oshawott with the move Razor Shell with the password: 8084-8937 Or, you can unlock it's final evolved form Samurott with the move Aqua Tail with the password: 3791-9675 And finally, players can unlock a Serperior with the move Leaf Blade with the password: 8047-7639

Final Super Pokémon Rumble Passwords Announced


The last few passwords for the European versions of the recently released Super Pokémon Rumble game for the Nintendo 3DS have been revealed. The passwords give gamers the chance to download the three Legendary Birds known as Articuno Moltres and Zapdos as well as a Unfezant and Stunfisk. The passwords are as follows;

Articuno can be unlocked with the password: 2704-0204 and has the move Ice Beam. To unlock Moltres use the password: 6284-2344 it has the move Flamethrower. To unlock the electric bird Zapdos use the password: 1566-6140 it has the move Discharge. For the female Unfezant use the password: 0632-6305 it has the move Air Slash. And finally for Stunfisk use the password 4074-7455 it has the move Mud Shot

New Best Wishes Episode Title


A new title for the Pokémon Best Wishes anime series which airs in Japan has been announced. Titled Afro on, GO! Bouffalant is NO!! the episode will feature Pikachu and the rest of the Pokémon gang getting separated from their trainers and running into a gang of Bouffalant. Amusingly, to get past the Bouffalant Pikachu and friends are said to wear afro wigs. Will they manage to get back to Ash and friends?

The episode airs in Japan on the 16th of February.

New Trailer For Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition

Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition is a game announced at Jump Festa over December last year, since then few details about the game have come out. However, recently a press conference was held and from it we have a nice new trailer showing off the game.



The trailer shows off a lot more of the battling aspect of the game, and also shows that Pokémon will be able to evolve as we see an Oshawott evolve. It has also been confirmed that when released in Japan the game will come with a special Shiny Rayquaza card. The game is due for release in Japan on the 17th of March.

Japanese C-Gear Skin



A new C-Gear skin has been released for gamers with a Japanese copy of Pokémon Black & White. The skin features Crustle and is to celebrate it featuring in the Pokémon Best Wishes anime series for the first time recently.

The C-Gear skin can be downloaded from today until the 29th of February.

CoroCoro Promises More New Movie 15 Details



CoroCoro is promising more new movie details for Pokémon: Kyurem VS The Sacred Swordsman in it's next issue due for release next month, along with that the Japanese magazine promises details on the main Pokémon of the movie to be revealed next month. Strange given the name many thought that was Kyurem, time will tell just which Pokémon gets this staring role, it could even be a brand new one.

Special Lucario Giveaway In The US



Now, this is quite the interesting giveaway because of how it works. Through the Global Link players will be able to download a special Lucario with the move Bullet Punch and it's hidden ability of Justified, however, the download is only open to gamers who have brought Pokémon Black & White from a Target store in the US between the 15th of January and the 30th of April 2012. As only those copies of the game include the special code (and it's a one time use code only). So, more a treat for new gamers then ones who already have it.

The Lucario was given away over the Global Link in Japan recently.

New Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition Details


Although small a few new details have been flying about to do with the Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition game for the Nintendo DS recently announced at Jump Festa in December.

Yesterday online retailer Amazon put up a listing for the game, and thanks to that we now have the official boxart (which can be seen above), it was also confirmed the game would use Wi-Fi in some manner. Now today thanks to CoroCoro's recent release we know a few more details.

To expand more on the Wi-Fi aspect of the game, it's said that players will be able to battle each other. Much like a main series game. The gameplay will include six-on-six battles and each trainer has one Pokémon under their command. Military commanders or generals, have Bushou Power which gives them the ability to help their Pokémon, such as healing their HP or powering them up a bit.

Some more warrior leaders and their partner Pokemon have also been revealed in CoroCoro. Hideyoshi has a Monferno (despite this he had an Infernape in the Jump Festa trailer, meaning it more then likely gets to evolve in the story), Motonari has a Servine and finally Motochika has Dewott.

The game is set for release in Japan on the 17th of March.

London Gamerbase Pokémon Tournament Prize & Date News


Back in the early part of December we were proud to announce our next Gamerbase tournament which will be held in Gamerbase in London. At the time we had the date set for the 18th of February. However, a few days after our announcement a surprising announcement was made regarding the Pokémon Video Game Championships date. It was announced the VGC would take place on the 3rd of March. In light of this our tournament will now take place on the 11th of February to avoid being quite so close to the VGC.

Japanese Episode Title

A new episode title for the Japanese Pokémon Best Wishes anime series has been announced. The new title is Double Battle! Pikachu & Krokorok VS Scolipede & Seismitoad!!. The episode will see fan favourite a sunglasses wearing Krokorok return and team up with Ash and friends for a battle.

The episode is due to air in Japan on the 2nd of February.
